Speaker Change: A New Direction for EFT – Expanding the Self with Individually Focused Intervention
Speaker Change: Leanne Campbell, PhD is co-director of the Vancouver Island Centre for EFT and Campbell & Fairweather Psychology Group (a multi-site psychology practice) and is an Honorary Research Associate of Vancouver Island University. Initially trained by Dr. Sue Johnson, she has been working in the EFT model for the past about three decades. Her clinical work focuses on loss and trauma across modalities, with individuals, couples and families. Dr. Campbell is an active ICCEFT Certified Trainer, offering trainings in the areas of EFIT and EFCT and trauma primarily, including relationship trauma and the Attachment Injury Resolution Model (AIRM). She also has been involved in the development of various educational materials and programs (see also www.iceeft.com and www.eftvancouverisland.ca). Most recently, she co-authored the first basic EFIT text with Dr. Sue Johnson, due to be released this summer (2021).

This webinar will focus on a general intro to EFT as an experiential attachment based model of therapy for individuals couples and families / Core principles of change in EFIT/ Key interventions/ The 5 Move EFT Tango/ Micro-Interventions/ A Short Therapy Excerpt/ Q & A and Discussion.

EFT, an important tool for the therapist toolbox in general and specifically for the problem gambler who has disconnected from feeling and after as recovery occurs needs support to self-regulate and process emotion.

Daniel K. Blackwood

Daniel began working in the field in 1984 and obtained his Bachelor's degree in Psychology and his Master's in Counseling from the University of New Mexico in 1988. In 1998 he founded the Evolution Group, Inc. where he serves as Executive Director with a team of talented clinicians and administrative staff. Daniel specializes in trauma recovery, couples and partners who want to recover from betrayal, recovery from gambling disorders, as well as recovery from mental illness and addiction. Author of Integrity Recovery (TM), Daniel teaches, supervises, and is working on a new book on Mindfulness-Based Emotional Processing.
